A UK court has class poker as a game of luck, the Gutshot Poker Club in London has been in a legal wrangle with the authorities over the classification of poker as a skill game or a luck based game. The Gutshot club was accused of breaking the gaming act by accepting rakes on tournaments played in the club.

The ruling will signal the end of poker clubs in the UK, players will have to revert to playing in back street games and their friends houses.
